We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our existing team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment and providing guidance on food preparation and presentation
Prepare, cook, and present dishes that meet the restaurant's standards for quality and consistency
Develop new menu items in collaboration with management, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimise waste while maintaining freshness
Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed, including hygiene standards and allergen management
Train new staff members in food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service expectations
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
Experience
Proven experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food presentation
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality settings
Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality establishments is highly desirable
Familiarity with food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and restaurant operations
Prior experience serving customers directly or managing service staff is advantageous
