We are seeking chefs of all levels to join the GWR Team.
Pay will be based on experience and knowledge made up by an hourly rate and share of TRONC.
Immediate start positions available.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Develop and plan menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative culinary ideas
Prepare, cook, and present dishes that meet quality standards and customer expectations
Oversee food safety protocols and maintain high standards of hygiene within the kitchen
Manage food production processes, including ingredient sourcing, inventory control, and waste reduction
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and team management capabilities
Ensure all food served aligns with health regulations and company policies
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to coordinate service times and optimise customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in managing kitchen teams
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary arts
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Exceptional communication skills to lead a team and liaise with other departments
Previous experience in food production, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly desirable
A passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable dining experiences

Pay: 12.21-18.50 per hour
