The ideal candidates will have a strong background in fresh food kitchens, with the ability to create delicious dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in, managing food preparation, and maintaining an organised kitchen environment.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards. Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, demonstrating culinary skills. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food production techniques, and food safety practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Creative flair for menu development and presentation of dishes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management. Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.
