Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nigerian food Cook/Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Nigerian hospitality and restaurant service, with a passion for guest satisfaction. As a Cook/Server, you will be responsible for cooking, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests have a memorable visit.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our high standards. Provide recommendations to guests, including upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any issues or requests. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating knowledge of culinary techniques. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served. Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments are required. Experience in making nigerian food is mandatory. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Pay: 12.21-12.51 per hour
