We're on the lookout for a hands-on, detail-focused individual to join our team as a

Blender

. If you've got experience in a blending environment -- great! If not, no problem -- we're happy to provide training for someone with a solid background in production work.

In this role, you'll be responsible for carefully mixing raw chemical ingredients to create high-quality finished products, following specific work orders. A Forklift Truck licence is a big plus, as you'll be working in and around our busy Blending Yard however if you don't have one we will arrange training. The Blender may be required to undertake other activities as necessary within the area of the Blending Yard.

Aztec Aerosols Ltd has been in operation since 1995 undertaking Aerosol Contract Filling for customers. Based on Gateway in Crewe since 1999 the site has grown in size and market presence.

In 2021 major investment was made to the Aztec site in a new high speed filling line capable of up to 180 cans a minute, significantly increasing output capability to over 2.5 million cans per month. This combined with the support and investment the parent group can offer has improved production efficiencies, process improvement and ultimately customer experience.

What you will be doing...



Set up & manage all blends, lead time will be 2 days prior to being required by production line.

Obtain and understand all documentation for making batches of blends and ensure correct chemicals are used for each blend.

Ensuring all chemicals used for each blend are correct quantities and delivered on time for production.

Ensure safe operation of fork lift truck and all blending yard equipment.

Daily inspection of fork lift and other equipment which is used on the blending yard

Operate fork lift and other work equipment in a safe and efficient manner following recommended work methods.

Keep appropriate records to guarantee that tight inventory control, accurate stock counting and security of products are maintained.

Monitor raw material usage on each blend, ensuring all raw materials returned to stock have the right quantity and information on containers and containers are in good condition.

Complete all paperwork and documentation relating to the blending of raw product.

Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

Segregate and record all waste on Blending Site.

Assist in maintaining the security of the blending yard.

What you will need to be successful...



Preferably knowledge of blending or experience of working in Production

Forklift truck licence

Proactive attitude, planning, communicating and building relationships

Self-motivated

Package and benefits includes:



Basic salary up to 27,270 dependent on experience Company profit related bonus (subject to company targets being met) 20 days annual leave (increasing by 1 day each year after 2 years' service up to 25 days) and bank holidays plus 1 day for birthday leave regardless of service Private Healthcare (after 6 months) Dental Plan (after 6 months) Life Assurance (after 6 months)

40 hours per week Mon - Fri 07.00 - 15.00
