We are currently looking for a Chemical Laboratory Assistant to support our world leading clients.
Responsibilities:
Act as the chemist in the laboratory and drive the acceptance process of materials. Completing analysis of concentrations of chemical baths using titration's Safe working with acids and other chemicals GC-MS Analysis FTIR Analysis DSC, DMA analysis Taking swabs for cleanliness Taking biological assays Chemistry method development Acid digestion of composites Produce in house etchants Assist in the batch acceptance work stream. Assist with R&D testing and method development Contribute to processes and risk assessments being up to date. Working in a safe and tidy manner. Attending a 15 minute meeting on Wednesday (SQCDP) to flag any safety, quality or delivery issues that could prevent work being delivered.

Qualifications:
The candidate will be at Degree level in Chemistry.

Experience:
Clean room working Solids content and density on various liquid samples testing Conductivity of DI water testing Epoxy/amine titrations testing Analysis of acid baths Analysis of adhesives Viscosity analysis Assessing non-volatile residues Using a rotary evaporator Assisting in treatments bath monitoring process etc
