Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemical Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production processes of chemical products, ensuring that operations run smoothly and safely.

Whilst experience in this field may be advantageous it is not essential. A full training programme will be undertaken so we are keen to hear from applicants with a great attitude towards work and a desire for learning and growth.

Duties

Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to identify any issues or inefficiencies. Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, quality control measures, and any incidents that occur during operations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions promptly. Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and company policies regarding waste disposal and chemical handling. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of chemical processes and safety practices to ensure multi-skilling across the team.

Experience

Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with operating machinery and understanding of chemical safety protocols is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions are crucial for success in this role. Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team are essential attributes.
