Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Chemist Assistant

to support laboratory research, material testing, and chemical analysis related to aerospace and UAV systems. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing experiments, conducting tests, maintaining lab equipment, and documenting results in close collaboration with senior chemists and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the preparation and execution of chemical experiments and tests. Measure, mix, and handle chemical substances following safety protocols. Support testing of materials, coatings, adhesives, and fuels used in aerospace systems. Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and inventory of chemicals and supplies. Accurately record experimental data, observations, and results. Prepare samples for physical, chemical, or analytical testing (e.g., pH, viscosity, thermal resistance). Dispose of hazardous waste according to environmental and safety regulations. Support documentation and reporting for internal records and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:



Degree or technical diploma in

Chemistry

,

Chemical Engineering

,

Materials Science

, or a related field.
Experience working in a laboratory environment (academic or industrial).

Basic understanding of chemical processes, laboratory instruments, and measurement techniques. Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety procedures. Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience with materials testing in aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors. Familiarity with laboratory software, data logging tools, or chemical safety databases. Understanding of composite materials, resins, or fuel chemistry is a plus.
