Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to work for a school on split sites, one in Hendon and another in Belsize Park. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teacher Physics and a commitment to nurturing students' growth and development.
Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
- Provide individualised support to students, especially those with special educational needs
- Conduct science lessons and experiments in the classroom/laboratory
- Mentor and guide students in their academic journey
- Educate students in Physics
- Assist students with proofreading and improving their written work
- Manage student behaviour effectively through positive reinforcement and behaviour management strategies
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience in teaching Physics to KS3/4 pupils or working with students with diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to mentor, support, and guide students effectively
- Proven track record in behaviour management techniques

Contract length: 2 months
Pay: 176.99-262.46 per day
