Job Description

We seek a highly motivated and experienced

GCSE Chemistry & Biology

tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group tuition to students from Year 7 to Year 11, preparing them for their GCSE exams under the AQA & Edexcel exam boards.

Requirement:

A degree in Chemistry/Biology (could be a current student) Experience of teaching GCSE Science (useful, but not essential) Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Science. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. Teaching within the school curriculum and keeping up to date with any changes to exam boards etc. Planning lessons ahead

Responsibilities

:

Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of each student. Provide engaging and interactive tuition sessions that encourage student participation and enhance their understanding of Chemistry/Biology concepts. Conduct regular assessments and mock exams to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their performance and achieve their academic goals. Create and maintain a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and motivation. Keep up-to-date with changes to the AQA/Edexcel exam board and adapt tuition strategies as necessary.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract, Graduate
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12.00-15.00 per hour
