Chemotherapy Nurse

' you will not only be delivering high quality care you will be the face of Sciensus with increased job satisfaction, by being able to give holistic one to one care within the patient's own home.



You will be part of an ambitious team, empowering each patient by offering personalised support. Whilst based in Belfast, this position will see you travelling throughout the whole of Northern Ireland.



You will administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, as defined in the patient's care plan whilst sustaining professional standards and documenting all data.


The care you provide will be tailored the patients individual needs, enabling you to build long lasting relationships with the patient, their families and multi-disciplinary teams.


A full UK driving licence is essential as regional travel will be required to visit patients at home.

What is required?




Alongside being a competent registered nurse this role will require you to hold a

SACT qualificatio

n, enabling you to administer chemotherapy treatments.


The following skills are attributes are also need to be successful in the role:

Community experience or the willingness to travel and work autonomously within the region Confidence in clinical assessments Venepuncture (training can be provided) Cannulation IV administration Manging PICC / Mid / Hickman Lines
