Cheshire East Council is seeking a skilled and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults requiring support, while working within a supportive and professional environment.
Job Title: Qualified Social Worker (Adult Social Care)
Location: Cheshire East
Contract: Temporary / Flexible Hours
Pay Rate: 37 per hour
As a Qualified Social Worker, you will:
Undertake assessments, care planning, and safeguarding interventions for adults in need.
Work collaboratively with clients, families, and multi-agency teams to ensure positive outcomes.
Maintain accurate, timely records in line with professional standards.
Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing for service users.
Requirements:
Professional registration with Social Work England.
Proven experience in adult social care, including safeguarding and care planning.
Strong assessment and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work across Cheshire East locations as required.
