Job Description
Join our dedicated team at Cheshire East Council as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) in Adult Social Care, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals within our community. We are offering a competitive rate of 37 per hour for a motivated professional who is passionate about making a difference in adult social care. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of adults, developing care plans, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of support tailored to their individual needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and risks.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Providing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to deliver effective services.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrable experience in adult social care, particularly in assessment and care planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
