Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging chess lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Create a positive learning environment that encourages strategic thinking, problem-solving, and sportsmanship Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring all students stay focused, motivated, and engaged during sessions Develop customized lesson plans that align with individual goals and group objectives Organize friendly competitions or tournaments to promote practical application of skills and build community spirit Communicate clearly with students and parents about progress, upcoming events, and areas for development

Requirements

Proven experience in teaching or tutoring chess, with a strong understanding of game strategies and tactics Demonstrated classroom management skills to maintain discipline while fostering an encouraging atmosphere Experience working with children or adults in educational settings or extracurricular programs Excellent communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate learners of all ages Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles Prior classroom experience or experience working with students in educational environments is highly desirable Passion for chess and a genuine desire to inspire others through strategic gameplay
