Duties

Design and deliver dynamic chess lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Plan engaging activities that promote strategic thinking, concentration, and sportsmanship during coaching sessions Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure a positive and focused learning atmosphere Provide personalized tutoring to help students improve specific skills or prepare for competitions Assess student progress regularly and offer constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement Organize and supervise chess tournaments or friendly matches to foster community engagement and practical application of skills Communicate clearly with students, parents, and guardians about progress, upcoming events, and areas for development

Qualifications

Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, especially in chess or related strategic games Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline while encouraging active participation Experience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners in educational settings Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and motivate students of all ages Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles Prior classroom experience or childcare experience is highly desirable Passion for chess combined with a genuine interest in helping others learn and grow
