We are seeking a confident, versatile professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. This pivotal role combines commercial leadership, strategic initiative, and client relationship management at the heart of our Yacht Management organisation. You will act as a key partner to the Managing Director and Board, overseeing non-revenue generating activity, managing contractual obligations, and leading high-impact projects. Working closely with senior leaders across the organisation, you'll help shape global business strategy, drive sustainable growth, and ensure commercial excellence across our business.


Please note: This role is UK (Hampshire) based but does require frequent international travel and on-site presence across our client locations and global offices. While we offer occasional flexibility in working patterns and time-inlieu, this is primarily an in-person, travel-oriented position. It is ideal for someone who is happy to be on the move and highly engaged in-person with teams, clients, and projects across borders.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Leadership




Management of the UK office and associated activities Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute our global growth strategy Plan and coordinate business development initiatives across multiple teams Lead contract development, negotiation, and client onboarding for new business streams Identify and drive opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and market expansion Ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing, branding, and communications Oversee group-level planning, budgeting, and promotional strategies Foster integration between divisions within the broader corporate group

Operational & Corporate Excellence



Monitor and enhance client satisfaction through structured feedback and service reviews Champion GDPR and ISO 9000 compliance, overseeing reporting and audits Govern corporate policy, process improvement, and performance metrics Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency and innovation Support CSR strategy and activities aligned with our values and goals

Project & Team Leadership




Manage group-wide projects, software systems, and IT infrastructure Drive interdepartmental collaboration and knowledge-sharing Represent the organisation in client meetings and international forums Support the Managing Director and Board through trusted counsel and actionable insights Organise Executive Team meetings, documenting minutes, tracking actions, and ensuring accountability

Knowledge and Experience:

Proven business leader with a relevant tertiary qualification Background in the maritime industry - yachting experience highly advantageous Strong track record of strategic planning, business growth, and team leadership In-depth understanding of regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and commercial contracts
