Job Description

We are a forward-looking Trust and are looking to recruit someone who not only has impeccable clinical credentials in psychiatry, but someone who is strongly aligned with our vision and values. Equally important is that we need a person who will champion mental health, dementia, learning disability, and autism services to reduce health inequalities, and deliver better access, experience, and outcomes for the populations we serve.

As a Chief Officer of the Trust Board with accountability for delivering the Trust Strategy.



Functional leadership responsibility for:

clinical quality (in conjunction with the Chief Nursing Officer); clinical effectiveness and outcomes; medical leadership and education; pharmacy; research and innovation; Mental Health Act compliance.



To engage in the leadership of the wider health and care system.



The aim of this role is to be an effective Chief Officer; the responsibilities of which are laid out in the corporate responsibilities section. Chief Officers are expected to ensure effective leadership, professionalism, rigor and challenge on all aspects of Trust business.
