This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate leader. We are looking to appoint an Executive Chief Nurse to join the Board in a radically changing and evolving NHS landscape.
The successful candidate will be an innovative, inspiring, and compassionate nursing leader who can create a compelling and inclusive vision that engages colleagues across the professions. You will have highly effective communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues, both within and external to the organisation. You will maintain high professional standards, and the delivery of safe and compassionate care to patients and their families will be fundamental to your role. You will also contribute to the effective implementation of the Trust's Clinical Strategy.
Patient safety and experience is a key part of the Chief Nurse role. You will work in collaboration with Executive Director Colleagues to ensure that there is a 'Being Fair' and learning culture, where continuous improvement is a core priority. You will play a fundamental role in creating a psychologically safe working environment. You will lead on the delivery of the quality priorities and ensure delivery against key quality metrics. You will be the Executive Maternity Safety Champion and Director of Infection Prevention and Control.
