Job Description

Remote | Flexible Hours | Equity-Based Role

A founding opportunity to architect the operating system of a multi-venture tech group.

----------------------------------------------

HELP BUILD THE OPERATIONAL ENGINE OF A MULTI-SUBSIDIARY TECH GROUP

StrideNex is evolving from a founder-led support entity into a structured, multi-business technology group preparing to launch several specialist subsidiaries across:

AI-powered solutions Software development Digital services Automation and efficiency platforms Specialist commercial and operational functions
To achieve this, StrideNex is appointing its first

Group Chief Operating Officer (COO)

- a founding-level executive responsible for building the delivery, operational, and structural foundations that will power every future business unit.

This is not a maintenance role. This is an architect role. Perfect for someone with deep experience in tech-enabled delivery environments who wants meaningful long-term ownership in what they help build.

----------------------------------------------

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Group COO will design and implement the StrideNex Operating System (SN-OS): the processes, frameworks, and delivery models that all current and future subsidiaries will run on.

This is a role for someone who has previously juggled:

multiple clients multiple teams multiple deliverables multiple business units
... and kept them aligned under one operating system.

Your focus is on delivery excellence, systems, structure, and cross-team alignment - not technical oversight, not finance strategy, not product ownership.

Key responsibilities include:

Operational Architecture & Systems Building

Designing the full operating system for the group and every subsidiary Building SOPs, delivery frameworks, QA ? UAT ? deployment workflows Architecting cross-functional systems used across all disciplines Implementing project orchestration and resource allocation models Creating dashboards, scorecards, and performance frameworks

Delivery Leadership (The Most Critical Mandate)

Ensuring all projects across all subsidiaries are delivered on time Resolving (and preventing) delivery fires Protecting margins, schedules, and utilisation rates Holding subsidiary CEOs accountable to delivery KPIs Managing throughput across a high-volume, multi-client environment

Multi-Unit Operational Oversight

Coordinating operations across multiple business units Ensuring each subsidiary works within one clear operating system Overseeing 10-50+ concurrent projects as the group expands De-risking launches of new subsidiaries and functions

Scaling, Structure & Resource Planning

Supporting rapid headcount growth (20 ? 50 ? 100+) Building onboarding frameworks for cross-functional teams Managing multi-discipline operational flows (design, dev, PM, commercial)

Founder Support & Executive Alignment

Acting as the founder's integrator and operational counterpart Reducing noise, structuring priorities, and enforcing clarity Aligning future C-suite members (CRO, CTO, CFO, subsidiary CEOs)
This role blends strategic system design with hands-on execution - perfect for someone who thrives in high-complexity, multi-delivery environments.

----------------------------------------------

COMPENSATION & EQUITY

This position begins as an

equity-based leadership role

, with salary introduced as business units move into revenue.

What's on offer:

Up to 10% equity

, tied to structured performance milestones and a founder discretionary award A core seat within the

Group Executive Leadership Team

A defining role in shaping the operations and delivery frameworks of all future subsidiaries Opportunity to advance into future senior roles as the group scales Salary and performance compensation added as subsidiaries become revenue-generating
This is an opportunity to help build - and own - the infrastructure behind a multi-venture organisation before it scales.

----------------------------------------------

OUR MISSION

StrideNex is building an interconnected ecosystem of specialist companies powered by world-class operations, strong leadership, and technology-enhanced delivery.

We aim to:

Solve real operational and technological challenges Build high-performance systems and automation at scale Create a culture of clarity, accountability, and strong standards Ensure every business unit launches with rock-solid delivery infrastructure Build an ecosystem where innovation and operational excellence compound
We are early - deliberately early. Which is why the Group COO role is foundational.

----------------------------------------------

NEGATIVE INDICATORS
