About the role
Cambridgeshire County Council Targeted Support Service provides support to children, young people, and their families. Each district team consists of Family Workers, Child and Family Centre Workers, Young People Workers, Senior Transitions Advisors, Transitions Advisors, Client Researchers and managers.
The role of Child and Family Centres is to improve outcomes for all children, from pre-birth to age 19, and to reduce inequalities in outcomes between children growing up in disadvantage and the wider population. Child and Family Centres provide a focus for multi-agency teams to deliver integrated services to young children and their families.
We have 1 x 37hr full time post within Huntingdonshire Child and Family Centres team.This post will be based at our Huntingdon Youth Child and Family Centre but working across the district in St Ives, Ramsey, Sawtry, Huntingdon and surrounding villages, occasional travel to St Neots. Occasional evening and weekend working.
