We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children in our care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and interacting with children, ensuring their well-being, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a passion for working with children and the ability to foster positive relationships with both the children and their families.
Duties
Supervise children during playtime, meals, and activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play.
Provide emotional support and guidance to children, helping them develop social skills and confidence.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe environment for all children.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Assist with daily routines such as feeding, dressing, and hygiene tasks as needed.
Observe children's behaviour and development, documenting any significant changes or milestones.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and parents.
Patience and understanding when dealing with children's needs and behaviours.
Ability to create engaging activities that cater to various age groups.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
First Aid certification is desirable but not essential; training may be provided.
Previous experience in childcare or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
