Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, ensuring their wellbeing, and fostering their development through play and structured activities.
The role will be between 3:15 - 5:30pm Monday - Friday within a school near Stalbridge.
Duties
Supervise and engage with a small number of children in a safe and caring environment (after school). Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the childcare area, including toys and equipment.
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting or nursery is essential. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Previous management or leadership experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.5 per week
