Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The Childcare Provider will support children's growth through play, structured activities, and individualized attention.

Duties



Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare setting. Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and hygiene practices. Collaborate with other caregivers or educators to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.

Requirements



Proven experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny/babysitter. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in early childhood education or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with first aid procedures; certification in first aid is a plus. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while providing positive reinforcement to children. Experience working with students who have special needs or disabilities is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trusting relationships with children. Pay: 13.21-42.15 per hour
