Job Title: Child Disability Support Worker
Location: Bournemouth
Salary: 13.68 - 16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and personalised support to children with moderate to severe learning difficulties, assisting them with daily activities and learning tasks.
• Support the use of specialised facilities such as hydrotherapy pools, multi-sensory rooms, and therapy spaces to enhance students' physical and sensory development.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to implement individualised education and therapy plans.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and nurturing environment that promotes student confidence, independence, and well-being.
• Assist in organising and supervising enrichment activities that encourage personal growth and social development among students.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with moderate to severe learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Ability to work compassionately and patiently, demonstrating a nurturing approach to support each child's individual needs.
• Willingness to collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver personalised care and education.
• Understanding of and commitment to promoting inclusivity, respect, and independence within a supportive learning environment.
• Flexibility to assist with a range of activities, including those involving specialised facilities such as hydrotherapy pools and multi-sensory rooms.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply.
