Cumberland Council are looking for a dedicated Child and Family Worker to join our Children and Young People service. In this rewarding role, you'll work as part of a multi-agency team to support families with complex needs, deliver therapeutic interventions, and ensure the voice of the child is at the heart of everything we do. From parenting support to early help assessments and direct work with children, your contribution will help shape brighter futures.
We're seeking someone with an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field, strong communication and assessment skills, and experience working with children and families. In return, you'll join a supportive, values-driven team committed to inclusion, development, and making a real impact in the community. Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
This role is available on a permanent basis.

This role requires a DBS check. The level of check for this role is - Enhanced DBS Check with a Children's Barred List check.
