Responsibilities of a Child Support Worker

To support and enable the children to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual To keep training and skill levels up to date and relevant Support the children to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community Ensure Care Support Plans and other information about how to support the children are followed Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support Provide or support with personal care - cooking, cleaning, administer medication, washing. This role will include long shifts and alternative weekends
