Childcare Apprentice
Job Description
We are looking to recruit a candidate to do their level 2 or 3 in childcare through apprentice.
Working hours: 30 hours per week, Term time only from 9am to 3.30pm
Wages: apprentice wage
Start date: Jan 2026
The post holder will be an essential part of the Nursery team and will be integral to the planning and practice of the nursery.
The post holder will be creative, enthusiastic, flexible and be able to work on own initiative to stimulate children's social, emotional and physical development.
Risk asses any new activities, experiences
To work in partnership with the Nursery Manager and other Nursery colleagues to plan high quality learning opportunities/activities, appropriate for the age range of children attending the nursery.
To support the delivery of an Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Assist in the preparation, clearing and cleaning up of activities and to undertake additional duties as required.
References and DBS are required before commencing work
