We are looking to recruit a childcare apprentice with June 2025 Start . If you have a drive and passion for early years, please get in contact with a CV and covering letter by the 16/06/25 hours of work will be 37 over 5 days term time shift work between 7.30 to 6pm GCSE Maths and English grade C or 4 essential . PURPOSE OF THE POST To support with the delivery of high-quality childcare within the Crescent Pre-School Nursery DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Child Development. To assist in promoting the development of an integrated service for children and families. To assist in monitoring each child's development through observation, monitoring and the accurate recording of stages of each child's development through written and verbal reports. Ensuring that any recording of information is kept up to date collected and stored in accordance with current guidelines, and in line with the Crescent Pre-School Nursery policies of confidentiality. To work and communicate effectively with external agencies, children, parents and carers. To ensure positive links with parents/carers are maintained, making them feel welcome and involved in their child's learning and experiences. To support in encouraging parents to recognise the value of play and early learning experiences with their child. To work closely with colleagues and other professionals in response to identified needs. Ensure that parent and child's confidentiality is always maintained and work within the Crescent Pre-School Nursery policy on safeguarding. To assist in promoting children's centre and Crescent Pre-School Nursery's aims, ethos and values. To support the Childcare Team in raising parent's awareness of Health and Safety.
