Job Description

Due to an increase in demand we are looking for an apprentice to work in our popular home from home setting. You will enrol on to a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Apprenticeship if successful and will be fully supported to achieve this qualification.

You will work as part of a team to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 under the direction of the nursery manager.

Please note this position is all year round with shifts between 7.30am and 5:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow Create positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Provide children with opportunities to learn and develop Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the setting Attend relevant meetings as required Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required Supporting existing nursery staff
Experience:

Previous experience working in an early years setting or similar role is preferred but not essential Knowledge of the EYFS framework is desirable Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences for young children Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children
