Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 2 - Apple Tree Day Nursery

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship at Apple Tree Day Nursery at their Hilsea setting.

We believe that by creating a comforting environment, surrounded by engaging resources and our state-of-the-art sensory room, this will allow the children to feel confident and safe to play freely. Which optimises the child's growth, education, and development with an objective to reach their full potential.

Being a role model for the children is key and management believes that happiness trickles down. We are in Hilsea Portsmouth, right next to Trafalgar School.


You will be joining a well-established nursery with an extremely positive culture within the workplace. A very lovely place to work.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Working hands on alongside a key worker within the nursery setting. Looking after children ranging from 0-4. We are looking for someone who has an interest/passion for working with young children, to help them develop & thrive. We would like someone helpful, positive and reliable to join our lovely team.

Hours;

Apple Tree Day Nursery is open from 07.30am - 18:00pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed.

Qualities Required;

We are looking for someone who has an interest/passion for working with young children, to help them develop & thrive. We would like someone helpful, positive and reliable to join our lovely team.

Requirements;

You must be able to gain a clear DBS Have GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent would be desirable

We have a rigorous recruitment process. If you have committed a crime in the past or have anything on your record that will show up, it does not mean we will not recruit you. It is, however, important that we are made aware prior to doing a DBS check.
