We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. Duties
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times within the childcare setting
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, naps, and hygiene practices
Foster positive behaviour through guidance and encouragement
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment suitable for young children
Support children's emotional well-being through attentive care and active engagement
Adhere to organisational policies and procedures related to child safety and welfare
Skills
Proven experience with children, including nursery or early childhood education settings
Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee children's activities effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding in caring for children
Organised with good time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when needed
Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending off-site activities
