Childcare Apprenticeship - Jelli Tots Nursery

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Jelli Tots Nursery.


Jelli Tots is a private nursery based in Kilburn, North West London, offering outstanding childcare and education for children aged from two to five years old. The nursery has been established since 1999 and is owned and managed by Wendy Kelly, who works closely with the rest of the staff team to maintain a high quality of provision.

Our staff team aim to offer a friendly and welcoming presence for children, parents and visitors. Practitioners are well qualified and committed to advancing their skills and knowledge through reflective practice and continuous professional development. They develop close relationships with children; ensuring that each child's physical, emotional and educational needs are catered for.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Support children's learning and development

through applying knowledge of pedagogy and the observation, assessment, and planning cycle.

Develop secure and supportive relationships

with children and families as the key person for children in their care, advocating for those children.

Provide respectful and responsive physical and emotional care

to children, promoting health and wellbeing.

Work with key individuals in children's lives

(e.g., parents, families, and carers) to improve all children's outcomes and wellbeing.

Work in partnership with other organizations and agencies

to support children's learning, development, health and wellbeing.

Support the implementation of change

to improve practice.

Initiate and engage in continuous professional development

underpinned by reflective practice

Requirements;

A Level 2 Childcare qualification is essential You must be able to gain a clear DBS You must be able to obtain 2 References

Hours;

Jelli Tots Nursery is open from 8:15am - 3:15pm Monday to Friday (46 week of the year) The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week
