Childcare Apprenticeship - Growing Places Oak Meadow

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Growing Places Oak Meadows.


Our Growing Places approach is inspired by the values of the Reggio Emilia nurseries and pre-schools in Italy. This is an inspirational approach that builds a culture that respects childhood and allows each child to have daily opportunities to play, explore, discover, communicate and develop tolerant, understanding relationships. Bringing together, children, parents and staff in a journey of education.


We currently have five award winning nurseries, all registered with Ofsted as GOOD and OUTSTANDING, within Havant, Waterlooville and Fareham.


Our rooms are Babies, Family and Pre-School


Our additional opportunities include Physical Project, Outdoor Forest School, weekly outings and weekly visits to our outdoor provision, Little Acorns which has a small holding of animals.


We care for children between the ages of 3 months to 4 years.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met. Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote this daily in every routine. Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families. Uphold strict safeguarding policies Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures. Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent. Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.

Requirements;

Level 2 Childcare would be desirable GCSE Maths and English or be approved to be able to re-sit these alongside your apprenticeship

Hours;

Growing Places Havant is open from 7:30am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week
