Childcare Apprenticeship - The Sung Childcare

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at The Sung Childcare, St,Austell.


The Snug Childcare accepts Children aged from 0 years 3 months to 5 years 0 months.


We are a creative childcare facility based in the sleepy village of Lanjeth on the outskirts of Saint Austell, Cornwall.


With a focus on creative, imaginative play our aim is to provide a safe, homely environment that gives your child the opportunity to explore & develop in a purposely designed space.


The Snug believes that through supported, child LED play in an amazing, enabling environment we can nurture happy confident little humans ready for the next stage of their lives we provide a safe, homely space that gives your child the opportunity to explore and develop into the coolest little people ever.


At the snug we love the outdoors and get outside as often as we can most of the time we venture out into the garden twice a day and sometimes take walks around the local village to visit the horses or collect some natural treasures the older the children, the more door time.

Come and join our friendly team and start a fun new chapter! We are searching for a childcare practitioner to be part of Team Snug. We are based near St Austell with big ideas and a creative flare with a love for the outdoors.


We are looking for one special person to join Team Snug with the following attributes.


A passion for creative childcare. The ability to be part of a team. To be reliable, flexible and show initiative. Super-duper organisation with records, time keeping, safeguarding and planning. The imagination to create a magical learning environment for our little ones. Awesome communication skills in order to build positive and strong relationships with staff, parents and children. Someone that has a warm, nurturing, and fun approach, who will be looking after a Small number of key children Will help with planning and implementing the day's activities You will need can be open minded, creative, and to be able to implement project-based activities Have kindness and empathy, and to be able to find the magic in everything and treasure in every resource. You will be hands on and will support with the daily supervision of the children, nurture and meet their needs and help with all personal care including hand washing and toileting and assisting at mealtimes

Requirements;

A Level 2 Childcare qualification would be desirable Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role Preferably have GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent or willing to work towards them

Hours;

The Snug Childcare is open from 7:30am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours per week
