Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Poppies Day Care Nursery

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Poppies Day Care Nursery, Tidworth.


Established for over 25 years our Tidworth nursery has been trusted by families for generations, providing a safe and nurturing place for children to begin their learning journey


our age-appropriate rooms, daisies and butter cups 0-2 years of age, sunflowers 2-3 years of age flies 3-5 tears of age provide nurturing environments where children can learn, grow and play alongside peers at a similar stage of development.


With a strong focus on learning through play, healthy snacks prepared onsite, and an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating our Tidworth Nursery is a safe, inspiring space where every child can thrive.


Children at our Tidworth nursery enjoy a wide variety of experiences that go beyond the classroom. Every day, they have the chance to play and explore in our secure garden, which provides a safe space for running, climbing, and discovering the world around them.


We also make regular trips into the local community, such as visits to the library, where children can discover new books, listen to stories, and nurture a love of reading from an early age.


Alongside this, we offer a range of age-appropriate enrichment activities that add something extra-special to each child's week. From sensory-based experiences for our babies, to dance and movement for toddlers, and French and Debutots sessions for our preschoolers, every activity is carefully chosen to support learning, creativity, and confidence through play.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Helping to evolve the curriculum Ensuing the needs of the children are met. Planning and preparing age-appropriate activities Building relationships with staff, children, parents and external agencies. Upkeep of record -Day to day management of the accident books and safeguarding recording. Upkeep of environment including general housekeeping duties. Undertaking all aspects of personal care and supporting at meal and snack times.

Requirements;

GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in English, or equivalent

Hours;

The Setting is open from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week
