Childcare Apprenticeship - Poppins Nursery (Term Time Only)

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Poppins Nursery.


The care and education offered by Poppins Nursery will enable your child to learn skills, acquire new knowledge and demonstrate their understanding through interesting activities that are appropriate for their age and stage of development following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) that sets the standards for learning, development and care for children under five.

Our nursery classroom is designed to cater for all the EYFS areas of development offering a free flow session with outdoor play areas and adjacent Woodland Badger's Walk to promote their physical development.


We provide opportunities to involve parents and carers at Poppins throughout the year. Every term you are invited to join us at coffee mornings, Parent-Teacher Meetings, Singalongs and family events.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Supporting children learning through play Caring and supporting children, building relationship and heling them make progress Supporting with during the day with snack time, mealtimes, sleep time, inside and outside learning Working with an experiences team Toilet and nappy changing General housekeeping duties Creating an exciting learning environment Setting up and tidying up at the start and end of the day

Requirements;

A Level 2 Childcare qualification would be desirable but not essential You must be able to gain a clear DBS Preferably have GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent

Hours;

Poppins Nursery is open from 9:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday, Term Time Only The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week
