About Lift Caldicotes - The 3 O'Clock Club

Lift Caldicotes runs The 3 O'Clock Club, a wraparound childcare provision delivered by Live It Little Ones. We provide safe, fun, and engaging after-school care for children aged 4-11, supporting working families while giving children a positive, active, and relaxed end to their school day.

As we continue to grow across multiple locations, we are looking to build a reliable and enthusiastic team for our Caldicotes site.

The Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Childcare Assistant to join our after-school team at Lift Caldicotes. This role is ideal for school staff, teaching assistants, or anyone with experience working with children who finishes work before 3pm and is looking for consistent term-time hours.

You will support the delivery of engaging activities and help ensure the club runs smoothly in a safe, welcoming, and well-organised environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities including games, crafts, sports, and free play Support children as they unwind after the school day Assist with setting up and tidying away the club space Prepare and serve healthy snacks, following dietary requirements Maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment Communicate professionally with parents, carers, and school staff Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour management procedures Occasionally collect children from their school setting where required

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, or youth setting (desirable) A warm, positive, and responsible approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Good understanding of safeguarding and child welfare Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification, or willingness to work towards one Reliability and commitment during term time
