Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Assistant to join our team in Essex. This role is crucial in delivering engaging childcare activities that promote active and healthy lifestyles among children. You will play a significant part in fostering confidence and character development through fun activities like Crazy Science, Cooking, Arts and Crafts and many more activities. The hours available are 7:30 am to 8:30 am and then 15:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday. Term time only.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging sports activities for primary school children.

Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and teamwork. Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and school staff. Monitor and assess children's progress. Promote the importance of health and fitness through fun learning experiences. Support children in overcoming challenges and building self-esteem. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance program effectiveness.

Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.

Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate young learners. Knowledge of early childhood education principles. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for promoting health, fitness, and well-being among children.
