Childcare Assistant

to join our team supporting the delivery of the school's wraparound care provision. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

Role Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day running of the

before and/or after school club

Supervise and engage children in a range of activities, including play, crafts and quiet time Help to set up and tidy away resources and equipment Assist with preparing snacks and promoting healthy eating Ensure a safe, positive and inclusive atmosphere for all children Build positive relationships with children, parents and school staff

Requirements

Full UK driving licence

and access to a reliable vehicle (essential) Experience working with children A friendly, caring and patient approach Ability to work as part of a team and follow safeguarding procedures Good communication and organisational skills Reliability and punctuality Relevant childcare qualifications are a bonus, but full training can be provided
