Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen and we looking for a temporary childcare practitioner to work at our nursery in Trealaw. The role will involve working with children to support their development, to safeguard them and to promote their welfare.

The position is for an ECF childcare assistant working one to one with a child. It is a temporary position for a level 2 or 3 Childcare Assistant (Term time only) until 31st December2025 With the possibility of extending

Pay is dependent on age and experience

The post is for 15 hours per week between the hours of 9:00-12:00 pm, Monday to Friday
The Successful Candidate must hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years Qualification. They will preferably have experience of working within an early years setting. (Level 2 candidates will also be considered) Welsh speaker is preferred.

Successful candidates will be given full support and training opportunities to include mandatory fields e.g. Safeguarding, First aid and those relating to continual professional development in addition to those reflecting good practice. Training may need to be undertaken outside of normal working hours.

The post is subject to pre employment checks including but not limited to: DBS checks, qualification checks, reference checks and identity checks

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
