We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and attentive care. Duties
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times within the childcare setting
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Maintain a clean and organised environment conducive to learning and play
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members regarding children's progress and needs
Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices
Manage behavioural issues with patience and professionalism
Support children's individual needs through personalised care plans when necessary
Drive children to educational outings or appointments as required (if qualified)
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in childcare, nursery, or early childhood education settings
Strong management and leadership skills to oversee children's activities effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Knowledge of child development principles and safety standards in childcare environments
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and organisational skills
Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (preferred)
Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children or attending outings
Experience with managing behavioural challenges in young children is desirable
