Job Description

Childcare Manager

Watergate Bay Hotel - a place to take your childcare career to new heights. With a team that vales connection, flexibility, variety and challenge, we're all about making a meaningful impact on our guest's holiday. Our three core values- We Care, We Notice, We Change - show what it means to work for a hotel which goes above and beyond for our team and guests. At Watergate Bay, we don't just provide a place for our guests to rest their heads - we create memorable experiences that they'll remember for a lifetime.

The role

:

Full time: 38 hours over 4 days.

We're looking for an energetic, positive Childcare Manager to lead our Kids' Zone family, ensuring that our team and the children who join us have stellar experiences.

We are an Ofsted registered setting within the hotel offering supervised sessions to guests' children as well as non-residents. We care for children aged 6 months to 12 years old and provide a babysitting service for children as young as 3 months.

We know the true power of play, indoors and out and would rather spend our time providing quality play sessions than completing paperwork-based assessments. The beach is our playground and we know how to make the most of being so close to it, whatever the weather.

We seek an experienced leader, with the relevant NVQ level 3 childcare qualifications and minimum two years' management experience in an Early Years setting. If you're a dynamic individual with a likeminded view of what it takes to bring out the best in every practitioner and child, whatever their needs and learning styles, it's you we're looking for.

You'll be a true team player with a love for the outdoors, able to spot the little things that make a difference and see where others need help and advice. You'll be full of fresh ideas to make each Kids' Zone session shine, from supporting team development to pre-planning activities, as well as doing 'in-the-moment planning' and 'loose parts' play.

In return for your energy and commitment, you'll find yourself in a team with a shared outlook on life where friendship, connection, flexibility, variety and challenge make every working day worthwhile. You'll be part of a community that values excellence, innovation, and kindness in everything we do. Our commitment to our team is reflected in our exceptional working environment - one that promotes work-life balance, professional development, and plenty of opportunities for growth.
