Love children, teamwork, and the occasional glitter explosion? We're on the hunt for a Childcare Manager to oversee our Carclaze setting where play, laughter, and learning are always at the heart of what we do!

You'll be the person that makes sure our little adventurers are happy, safe, and thriving. From managing a team to keeping everything running smoothly, you'll help us create a fun and nurturing environment every single day.

A little about you:



You're a natural leader who loves inspiring people (and maybe dancing to Baby Shark now and then). You know the EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements like the back of your hand. You're organised, friendly, and always ready to roll up your sleeves. You've got at least a Level 3 in Early Years (or equivalent) and some experience managing a team.

Purpose of the Role:


To provide strong, fun, and effective leadership within our childcare setting, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children. The Childcare Manager will inspire and support staff, build strong relationships with families, and ensure high quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:



Leadership and Management:



Oversee daily operations at the setting, ensuring smooth and effective functioning. Support, motivate, and guide staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture. Conduct regular team meetings and supervisions to promote professional growth.

Quality of Care and Education:



Ensure all children receive outstanding care and learning experiences tailored to their individual needs. Develop, monitor, and maintain EYFS standards and best practices across both settings. Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain or achieve excellent Ofsted ratings.

Safeguarding and Compliance:



Ensure both settings meet all statutory and regulatory requirements, including health and safety. Keep up to date with changes in childcare legislation and policies.

Parent and Community Engagement:



Build positive relationships with parents and families, acting as a key point of contact. Handle inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and care. Promote the settings within the local community to encourage engagement and enrolment.

Financial and Resource Management:



Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively. Oversee enrolment, fee collection, and ensure financial targets are met.

Other Duties:



Foster a fun, inclusive, and creative environment for staff and children. Take part in hands on activities and support as needed to maintain the high energy and warmth of the settings.

Person Specification:



Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years or equivalent. Proven experience in a leadership role within a childcare or early education setting. Comprehensive knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. A love for working with children and creating joyful, enriching experiences for them.
