Job Summary

As a modern apprentice, your key duties will include:

Working with the staff team to create a positive and safe environment. Being a valued member of a team. Gaining practical experience with children across different age groups. Setting up activities and preparing the children for a fun and active day of learning. Learning how children develop through various experiences and opportunities. Following nursery safeguarding procedures to ensure all children are kept safe and secure. Working closely with parents/carers to deliver an individual learning and development journey for children. Assisting children with personal care tasks including toileting, dressing and feeding.
You will also be working towards a recognised qualification, with the support of an Assessor, to allow you to become a qualified Early Years Practitioner, and gain your SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7.

Hours of Work

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 2-weekly shift rotation

Pay: From 15,704.00 per year
