We are seeking a passionate and dedicated childcare practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 0 to 3 years.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children feel valued and encouraged to explore.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
Manage activities, ensuring that all children are actively participating and learning.
Lead activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth through play-based learning.
Maintain accurate records of each child's development and progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience within the preschool setting.
Experience
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and staff.
A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education is crucial.
Ability to drive may be beneficial for attending off-site activities or training sessions.
