We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our nursery rooms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing environment for children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.
Duties
Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff in delivering high-quality childcare and educational programmes.
Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play.
Drive initiatives that promote the nursery's values and mission within the local community.
Skills
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Proven experience in managing a room within a nursery or similar childcare setting.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development.
Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating patience and understanding.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development in a safe environment.
