Childcare Practitioner - Breakfast & Afterschool Club (Rotherham Area)

Location: Rotherham Area

Starting: ASAP

You will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check

Working Hours:

22.5 hours per week

Monday - Friday:

7:30 - 9:00 AM and 3:00 - 6:00 PM

Please note:

You must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to your own transport, and be willing to travel between settings across Rotherham, sometimes at short notice, to provide cover where needed. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel between settings in accordance with our company policy.

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Childcare Practitioner to join our team, providing a range of play-based activities for children aged 3 to 11 years old in our breakfast and afterschool clubs across the Rotherham area.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate programme of play and learning activities. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children by maintaining safe play environments and following safeguarding procedures. Welcome and communicate effectively with parents, carers, and visitors. Plan, evaluate, and adapt activities to meet the needs of the children. Assist with maintaining accurate records (registers, contracts, accident books, financial transactions, etc.). Help prepare and serve food when required. Follow all health and safety regulations and uphold club policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the setting. Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled start time.
