Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage and communicate with children. This role involves providing nurturing care and support to children in an out of school care setting, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality care for children in an out of school care environment, ensuring their safety at all times. Engage with children through play, educational activities, and creative projects to promote their development. Communicate effectively with children, fostering an environment of trust and encouragement. Manage daily routines, including snack times, activities, ensuring smooth transitions throughout each day. Communicate with parents/carers on a daily basis. Carry out children's development plans to ensure staff are meeting their indivudual needs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to explore and learn. Pick up children from school daily, ensuring safely tranported back to our premises.

Qualifications



Previous experience working with children would be beneficial but not essential. A qualification in childcare or a related field is preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. Ability to drive is advantageous but not mandatory. A nurturing attitude with the capability to create engaging learning experiences for children.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 16 per week
