Location: Marchmount House, Dumfries, DG1 1PW

Position: Childcare Practitioner

Hours: Full-time

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you want to make a positive impact on the lives of young children? If so, we invite you to join our Little Gems team at Marchmount House, a brand new purpose-built nursery dedicated to caring for children aged 0-5 years!

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality care and support for children in a safe, nurturing environment.

- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote physical, social, and cognitive development.

- Build strong relationships with children and their families, ensuring open communication and partnership in care.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for all children.

- Collaborate with fellow practitioners to ensure the highest standards of care and education.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.

- Candidates should hold a minimum of SVQ Level 3.

- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development and well-being.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to adapt in a fast paced setting.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check and provide references to ensure the safety and well-being of the children in our care.
