Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring the well-being of each child, and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.

Duties

Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in a nursery setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Communicate effectively with children to encourage their social and emotional development. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children. Collaborate with parents to discuss children's progress and address any concerns. Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding less experienced staff or volunteers in childcare practices. Drive initiatives that enhance the overall childcare experience for both children and families.

Experience

Need a qualified nursery nurse at a level 2 or level 3 (Must hold at a least a level 2 qualification in childcare). Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is required. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A background in managing groups of children in various settings is advantageous. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in nursery care is preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead activities that engage children's interests and promote learning outcomes.
